Before getting in touch...
Got a local issue?
If you have a local problem or issue, it sometimes helps if you report them directly to the relevant authority first. This can help speed things up. If you’re not sure who to contact, I'd be more than happy to help you find the right place. If needed, I can then help escalate the issues raised and work with the relevant authorities.
Common issues include (and not limited to):
-
Potholes and road safety concerns
-
Drainage and flooding problems
-
Planning and development matters
-
Play areas and community facilities
-
Public transport issues
-
Green spaces and access problems
-
Community facility questions
If you’re reporting something related to drainage or roads, paths and bridleways, your report helps build the case for action.
When you do raise an issue, it often helps to include:
-
Location details (road name, area, or what3words address)
-
Photos (if relevant), this can give context.
-
When the issue occurs (if it’s related to weather or happens at specific times)
Questions or ideas?
Not sure about something, or have a thought about how we could do things better? Maybe it’s about a project you’ve been following, an idea you’ve been mulling over, or just something you’d like to understand better. Get in touch. I’m always keen to talk things through.
